We sadly announce the passing of a beloved husband and devoted father, Michael B. Halpin of Bristol on Thursday, September 24th at his home at the age of 61. Michael and Andrea (Farrell) Halpin would have celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on Wednesday September 30th.

Michael was born on May 23,1965 in Bridgeport, son of the late Brian and Karen (Monte) Halpin. He served in the US Air Force during the Persian Gulf War and was a retired employee of Hartford Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion Post 209 in Forestville. Michael was an avid sports fan, rooting on his NY Mets and Dallas Cowboys even when it got frustrating to be a fan. He loved being a little league baseball coach, bowling, Disney vacations and any activity with his son & family.

In addition to his wife and son, Michael is survived by his two brothers Mark and his wife Lauren Halpin, Eric and his wife Jennifer Halpin, his sister-in-law Tammy and her husband Paul Orlowski as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday October 1st from 5 to 7 PM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial with military honors will be in the CT Veteran Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
