WOLCOTT Michael J. Gorman, 60, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020. He was the husband of Shari (Oksenkrug) Gorman. Michael was born in Syracuse, N.Y., on June 20, 1959, son of the late Charles Edward and Helen Marie (Barry) Gorman. He retired as a corrections officer in Cheshire, and was currently working for Community Solutions Inc. in Waterbury as the assistant program director. Mike was proud of his Irish heritage and loved to play golf. Including his wife, Shari, Mike leaves behind his children, Meaghan Gorman-Maupin and her husband, Chris, and Ryan Gorman and his wife, Kate; his stepchildren, Adam Brown and his wife, Danielle, Hillary Brown, Tyler and Kathryn Bourn, and Matthew Bourn; his siblings, Thomas Gorman and his wife, Annette, Patrick Gorman and his wife, Jody, and Karen Stevens and her husband, David; his grandchildren, Noah, Jacob and Samantha; his nieces and nephews, Adam, David, Matthew, Nick, Amy, Corinn, Nicole and Samantha; and a godchild, Logan.
