WOLCOTT ~ Michael Fusco, 87, of Wolcott passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Bristol Hospital. He was the widower of Caroline (Taglia) Fusco. Mr. Fusco was born February 4, 1926 in Cheshire, son of the late Salvatore and Bridget (Pastore) Fusco. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during WWII. He was the owner of Jakes Auto Body for many years and enjoyed gardening and reading. He leaves his sons, David Fusco of Wolcott and Nicholas Fusco of San Diego, CA, his daughter, Christine Nelson and husband, Steve Olmstead of Wolcott, his "second" daughter, Terry Olivucci of Dobbs Ferry, NY, his sisters, Mary and Anna Perugini of Waterbury and Emma Dalfino of Bristol, his brother, Victor Fusco of Cheshire, his grandchildren, Carla, Cole and Jessie Nelson, his great grandchildren, Luke, James, Jack, Charlotte, Matthew and Ashton Olmstead and many nieces and nephews. A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday at 2:30 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott with Pastor Leo Chaput officiating.
