Wolcott - Maureen P. (Quirk) Coughlin, 92, of Wolcott, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Apple Rehab in Plainville. She was the widow of the late John B. Coughlin. Maureen was born on August 26, 1930, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Michael and Lillian (Cotter) Quirk. Maureen was a longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Wolcott and enjoyed spending time at the Charles Rietdyke Senior Center. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed collecting Antiques. She worked for many years in Customer Service at Shop Rite Waterbury until her retirement. Maureen is survived by her four children, Kimberly Hunt and her husband David of Cheshire, Thomas Coughlin and his wife Kristine of Rockland, CA, Bob Coughlin of Farmington, and Tammy Carpentino and her husband Raymond of Cheshire; five grandchildren, Jason Hunt, Amanda Carpentino, Joshua Hunt, Finn Coughlin, and Shea Coughlin; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Drs. Ciampi and Ansari for their care, aides Yoland and Sarah for helping mom in her daily life; and the staff at Apple Rehab Plainville for making her final days comfortable.
