Wolcott- Mary Slavin, 96, passed away on June 6, 2017 at the Oakland Care Facility, in Oakland, NJ. Mary was born in Waterbury, on November 16, 1920, to the late John and Anna (Pierce) Slavin. She attended Saints Peter and Paul Church and grammar school, and graduated from Waterbury Catholic High. Mary moved to Wolcott in 1955 and worked for The Bristol Company for 42 years. She enjoyed golf, bowling, and traveling, and would drive all across the country. Mary is survived by her sister, Ann Connor; her sister in law, Shirley Slavin; 9 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great niece. Including her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, James Slavin; John Slavin; and Joseph Slavin. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12 at 9 a.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, to St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
