MARY F. ROCKHILL Devoted Love of Family & Friends WATERBURY ~ Mary F. (Violette) Rockhill, 68, of Waterbury passed away on December 24th at St. Marys Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Rockhill. Mrs. Rockhill was born March 16, 1942 in Waterbury, daughter of Frederick and Anne (Heckard) Violette. She devoted her life to her family and friends. She was a passionate bingo player and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Besides her husband of 22 years, she leaves her children, Shelley Corey of Naugatuck, Linda Gruzas of Waterbury, Theresa Torres and her husband, Fernando of Waterbury, Dawn Zukauskas of Thomaston, and Alyssa Rey of Waterbury, Dale Gruzas of Waterbury, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brother, Jack Violette of Oakville, her step-children, Donna Collins and Lenore Stadalnik of Hamilton, OH, Martha Stadalnik of Manchester, Wayne Rockhill of Waterbury, Ronald Stadalnik of Thomaston, and several step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick and sister, Florence. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Church, 14 Bentwood Dr., Waterbury.
