WOLCOTT ~ Mary (LaBella) McGuire, 85, of Wolcott passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Vitas Innovative Hospice Care at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Christopher R. McGuire. Mrs. McGuire was born March 20, 1927 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Canio and Gertrude (Bocchiccio) LaBella. Mary had a love of shopping and dining out with family and friends at many restaurants. She enjoyed her weekly meetings with her friend, Tillie and her visits to her hair salon. She leaves her daughter, Joan Drake and her husband, David of Wolcott, her grandchildren, Heather Drake of Fairfield, Courtney Drake of Wolcott and David Drake II of Wolcott, her sister, Maria (Antoinette) Capobianco of Waterbury, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott, followed by burial in Woodtick Cemetery.
