Bristol Mary Ellen Clukey, 81, of Bristol, passed away on July 18, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Richard N. Clukey, Sr. who predeceased her in 2016. Mary was born on June 25, 1940 in Bangor, Maine, daughter of the late Edwin F. and Marion (Gott) Wiley. She was a very accomplished oil painter, and an avid doll collector. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, spending time with her faithful dog, Jasper; and she cherished the time she was able to spend with family. Mary is survived by three sons, Richard N. Clukey, Jr and his wife Candice, Daniel A. Clukey and David A. Clukey; two daughters, Debra J. Blackwell and her husband Richard, and Teresa Lynn Burdick and her fianc Bill Pennell; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brother Lewis Wiley and his wife Emma; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Robert, Edwin, Peter, Clarence, and Richard Wiley. Family and friend may call on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
