Marvin E. Hunt US Marine Veteran WATERBURY- Mr. Marvin Edward Hunt,89, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Veterans Hospital in West Haven. He was the husband of the late Bernadette (Pinette) Hunt and a man of strong faith. Born in Amsterdam, NY on July 31, 1935, Marvin was the son of the late Roy and Helen (Kissenger) Hunt. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict. Marvin retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after working in North Haven for over 46 years. Marvin enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs and was always ready for the next adventure whether traveling or square dancing. He enjoyed listening to music especially gospel and country and going to plays and shows. Marvin also enjoyed working in his yard and driving his convertible mustang to that next adventure. For many years he was a member of the Ark Church in Waterbury. Left to carry on his loving legacy are his sons Dwayne and his wife Lisa Hunt, Kevin Hunt, his daughter Michele Hunt, his loving partner of many years Eileen Holohan, his four grandchildren Nicole Hunt, Andrew Hunt, Bailey Wery, Melissa Hunt, his four great grandchildren Quinton, Rowan, Hattie and Beckhem. Funeral Services will be held on at 10 AM on Friday December 20, 2024, at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
