WATERBURY- Mark A. Parenteau, 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at his home.
Mark was born in Waterbury on February 16th, 1968, son of Irene (Emeri) Parenteau and the late Maurice Parenteau. He graduated from Wolcott High School class of 1986. For 32 years he worked for Metallon Inc in Thomaston where he was the union leader of Teamsters Labor Union Local 1035. He loved NASCAR and was a fan of Kevin Harvick, basketball and was a fan of Michael Jordon, and the rockn roll band KISS.
In addition to his mother Irene, Mark leaves his daughter Amanda Parenteau, his sisters Lisa and her husband Dean Accetura, Jessica and her husband Leonardo Palana, his aunt Lillian Parenteau with whom he resided, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours with cremains present are Thursday, February 20th from 5 to 7 PM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Friends and family are invited to meet directly at The Shrine of St. Anne / All Saints-Todos Los Santos Parish 515 South Main St. Waterbury on Friday February 21st for Mass at 10 AM.
