MARIETTE A. FORTIER Waterbury: Mariette A. Fortier, 89, of Waterbury, died Tuesday, December 9th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Emile Fortier. Mrs. Fortier was born September 9, 1919 in St. Hughes, P.Q. Canada. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Arzelia (Brouillard) Bolduc. She was a parishioner of Shrine of St. Anne and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the South End Senior Center. She leaves her sons Roger Fortier of Portland, OR., Roland Fortier of Ansonia, David Fortier and Mark Fortier both of Waterburyand Thomas Fortier of San Diego, CA.,and her daughter Doris Fortier of San Diego, CA. She is survived by her grandchildren Scott, Joey, Penny, Michelle, Honoree, Clinton and Brookelyn, her great grandchildren Dominic, Hunter, Gillian and Cristiano and several nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her son Ronald Fortier. The family will like to express their gratitude and thanks to the VNA Health Care staff and the H.O.P.E team for the loving care given to Mrs. Fortier Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 11 at 8:45 am from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne for a mass at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm.
