WATERBURY ~ Marie Antoinette (Colangelo) Meccariello, beloved mother and grandmother and widow of Frank N. Meccariello died peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in Waterbury. Antoinette was born in Waterbury on December 1, 1924 to Domenica Maria (LaBella) and Rocco Colangelo. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury. Antoinette is survived by her daughters, Barbara Meccariello and Katherine Roche and her husband Edmund, her grandson Shaun P. Roche and his wife, Angelica. She is also survived by her sister, Jennie Boisvert. Antoinette was preceded in death by her brothers, Vito, Daniel and Frankie, and her sisters, Catherine, Angelina and Grace. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers at St. Marys Hospital. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Leo the Great Church, 14 Bentwood Dr., Waterbury followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the church.
