Winsted M. Karen (Kociuba) LeVasseur, 74, born on August 16, 1942, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, February 27, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Thomas LeVasseur. Karen leaves behind a daughter, Carolyn (LeVasseur) Thibodeau of Otis, MA.; a son Timothy John LeVasseur and his wife Christina (Farina) of Winsted; grandsons, Jeffrey Orin Thibodeau, Jr., of New Jersey and Thomas James Thibodeau and his wife Amy of St. Petersburg, FL.; a granddaughter Samantha Ryan LeVasseur of Winsted; great grandbabies, Gavin and Dylan Thibodeau of New Jersey; as well as several brothers and sister in laws; and many, many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michaels Church, 62 St Michaels Dr., Waterbury. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
