WOLCOTT ~ Luna (Tedesco) Desrochers, 73, of Wolcott passed away on Tuesday, June 28th at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Desrochers. Luna was born February 2, 1938 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Anthony and Alice (Hart) Tedesco. For several years, she had been employed in the EKG Department of Waterbury Hospital and was a volunteer for the Wolcott Volunteer Ambulance Corps. She enjoyed roller skating and attending flea markets. Luna was fondly known as a tag sale "specialist". Many of her finds were new toys that she donated to local charities. Besides her husband, Robert of 53 years, she leaves her son, Raymond Desrochers of Waterbury, her daughters, Amie Beaulieu and her husband, Marcel of Bristol, and Julie Desrochers of Wolcott, her brothers, Nick Holloway of TX and Bob Holloway of NC, and her grandchildren, R.J. Desrochers, Amanda and Andrew Beaulieu. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral service will be held during the calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
