Luigi Alan Fusco took his own life on Sunday, April 27th, 2014 in Salem, MA. He was 23 years old. It happened much too soon and will be remembered greatly by his family and friends.
Luigi was born in Torrington, CT on January, 11, 1991. He was an inquisitive, sensitive, loving, intelligent child, getting terrific grades and great attendance. As he got older he loved to read fiction/fantasy/adventure books - he would be so involved with the story. Usually devoting all his free time till he finished it. He loved soccer and football.
He was kind, tender, head strong, stubborn, and completely devoted to standing up for his beliefs and protecting his freedoms.
Luigi studied hard to become a carpenter by trade where in 2014 he graduated from Job Corps (Loring Campus, Limestone, ME). He met some of his closest friends there - becoming so close as to calling each other family.
Luigi was so capable of accepting and love, he kept in his friendships he made at DMHAS's Young Adult Services (YAS) in Bridgeport, CT.
Luigi is survived by his mother, Laura W. Fusco of Stratford, CT; step father, Luis Ochoa; father, Luigi Fusco of MS; brother, Joseph M. Fusco of Waterbury, CT; two half-siblings, Anna and Almond Fusco; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
