LUCY A. GALANTE WOLCOTT ~ Lucy A. (Mango) Galante, 89 of Wolcott passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 22nd at Bucks Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Philip L. Galante. Mrs. Galante was born December 13, 1919 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Elisabeth (Marinelli) Mango. She retired from Serv-all Plumbing and had also been employed at Winsor Curtain Shop and Spinos TV & Appliance Store. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church, the Rosary Society and the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. She adorned her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves her sons, Louis J. Galante and his wife Terri of Middlebury, and Philip A. Galante and his wife Aleene of New Paris, OH, her daughter, Lucie St. John and her fianc, Chet Zak of Wolcott, her brother Anthony Mango of Wolcott, her grandsons, Joseph and Justin Galante, and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Destiney, Mercedes, Tyler, Justice, Kalee, Brooke, and Devin. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6th at 8:45 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will take place at Edgewood Cemetery in the spring. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
