Lucy Benson, 90, of Waterbury, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. She was the wife of the late Edward Benson. Lucy was the daughter of the late Biagio and Gilda (Golia) Bruno. Her hobbies aside from spending time with her loving family included shopping, watching soap operas, and cooking meals including her famous lasagna. Lucy is survived by her daughter, Nancy Grenier, of Waterbury; her granddaughter, Christa Grenier, of Waterbury; her sister Mary Moriarty, of Oakville; and several nieces and nephews. She is also pre deceased by her brother Andrew Bruno. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott, following with a service at 6 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful aides at Where the Heart Is in Waterbury.
