WATERBURY Louise "Weezy" Pruitt, 70, died at her home in Waterbury on September 19, 2023. Louise was born in New Haven on January 15, 1953, daughter of the late Levis Pruitt and Emma B. William. She graduated from Kennedy High School. She worked on the Easter Seals cleaning crew and at Stop & Shop grocery store. She was a participant in Special Olympics in her younger years. Louise was known as "Weezy" by those who were close to her including her caregivers Donna Hughes and Eva Dias. Weezy was friendly and usually the life of the party with her big smile. She was an avid sports fan especially the NY Giants and Jets. She also enjoyed swimming and dancing to music by Janet Jackson. She loved to watch professional wrestling and her favorite was The Undertaker. Many thanks to the CRI team who took wonderful care of Louise over the years. A graveside Service will be held on Wednesday September 27th at 10 AM in Woodtick Cemetery in Wolcott. Woodtick Cemetery is located behind Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd.
