LOUISE V. NAPOLITANO WOLCOTT ~ Louise V. (Iaiennaro) Napolitano, 69 of Wolcott passed away on September 3rd at the Masonic Home in Wallingford. She was the widow of Sandy C. Napolitano. Mrs. Napolitano was born April 5, 1940 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Pantarella) Iaiennaro. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and received certification as a Religious Educator through the Archdiocese of Hartford. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church. She was employed at St. Pius X Church for 32 years; 26 years as Director of Religious Education for the parish and 6 years as assistant to Sr. M. Constance De Manbry, former D.R.E., her friend and mentor. Louise was also a member of St. Pius XC Ladies Guild and held various offices as Treasurer, Secretary and Prayer Leader. She was a member of the Parish Council, former Eucharistic Minister, Head of R.C.I.A. Program and Small Christian Community. She was a member of the Rosary Society and treasurer of the Waterbury D.R.E. Deanery for 25 years. She treasured all her colleagues in the Deanery. She received the St. Josephs Medal award in 2006 from Archbishop Mansell for her years of service to the parish. She loved being a Religious Educator and sharing her faith with the parish children and families. She leaves her sons, Angelo and Michael of Wolcott, her beloved grandchildren, Brianna and Michael, whom she loved dearly, her brother Pat Iaiennaro of Plainville. She was predeceased by her brothers, Peter, Joseph and Anthony and her sister, Philomena Sango. She leaves many nieces and nephews, and her husbands family in Naples, Italy. She leaves a host of friends whom she treasured. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from Wood tick Memorial, 420 Wood tick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 am. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
