WOLCOTT ~ Louis A. Grenier, 60, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Benson) Grenier.
Louis was born April 26, 1951 in Waterbury, son of the late Roland and Madeleine (Gelinas) Grenier. He was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War. He had been employed at Devon Precision after leaving Arco after 28 years of service. Louis was "A True Fisherman" and spent memorable times fishing and camping with his family. He enjoyed all outdoor sports and vintage car shows. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1979 of Wolcott.
Besides his wife, Nancy of 30 years, he leaves his beloved daughter, Christa Grenier of Wolcott, his mother-in-law, Lucy Benson of Waterbury and several cousins.
Calling hours will be held Friday at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott from 6 to 7:45 pm. A military service will be held at 7:45 pm at the funeral home and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
