WOLCOTT- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine (Mancinone) Emanuel who died on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at her home. She was the devoted wife of Thomas Emanuel. Lorraine was born on September 29th, 1949 in Waterbury, daughter of the late John & Alice (Peach) Mancinone. She graduated high school from St. John Baptist School in New Jersey, earned her Bachelor's degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and a Master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She was an owner and President of New England Masonry & Roofing Co. in Naugatuck and was an owner and manager of New England Realty Co. Lorraine's legacy is marked by her selfless acts of kindness and unwavering generosity, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to know her. Friends and family meant the world to Lorraine, and the joy she found in the company of her grandchildren was a testament of her deep love and devotion to those she held close. In addition to her husband Tom of 46 years, she is survived by her son Jacob and his wife Christina Emanuel, her Granddaughters Angie and Ana Emanuel, two sisters Joan and Lisa Mancinone, and a brother Alan Mancinone all of Wolcott, as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lorraine's life on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott.
