LORI-ANN CORDATO Math Educator WOLCOTT ~ Lori-Ann Cordato, 44, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18 at her home surrounded by her family. Lori-Ann was born February 5, 1964 in Bronx, New York, daughter of Anthony and Yolanda (Marchetti) Cordato. She received a Bachelors Degree in Education from Fairfield University, a Masters Degree in Education from Sacred Heart University and was pursuing her career in administration at Southern Connecticut College. Lori-Ann was currently a math educator at the Waterbury Arts Magnet School. She had taught at Sacred Heart High School and Kennedy High School. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and reading. Besides her parents of Wolcott, she leaves a sister, Maria Ricci of Wolcott, her nieces, Ashley and Gina, and several aunts, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23 at 8:45 am from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Michael Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Trust Fund for Ashley and Gina Ricci, c/o Woodtick Memorial, P.O. Box 6320, Wolcott, CT 06716.
