Naugatuck - Linda M. "DeeDee" (Torsiello) Cekauskas, 67, formerly of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, July 15, at Beacon Brook Health Center. Linda was born October 4, 1948, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Dominic and Ann (Bernaitis) Torsiello. Raised in Naugatuck she attended local schools and had been employed at Sperry Automatic for over twenty years. She enjoyed crocheting in her free time. Linda is survived by her son, Wayne R. Cekauskas and his wife Jamie of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Anthony Torsiello and his wife Cleo of KY; one sister, Patricia Bunce and her husband Edward of Harwinton; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews, including her God-Daughter, Sandra Bolduc - Mauch and several great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Hospice staff, the staff of Beacon Brook and Marlene Ashe for the care they provided to Linda. Arrangements: A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, at 12:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be private.
