WATERBURY ~ Mrs. Leslie Basilion, 89, of Woodtick Rd. passed into her final rest peacefully, with her friend Irena by her side on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Wolcott View Manor. Mrs. Basilion was born March 29, 1922 in Clinton, Connecticut. During WWII she volunteered helping soldiers at the USO. Leslie was very active with AA for over 30 years and always provided her positive outlook on life to many. She had a passion for theater, music and loved to dance. Leslie was proud of her Irish heritage and family. She worked for several years as a paralegal for many local attorneys; her last place of employment was with the office of Attorney Dodd in Cheshire. She retired at 75 years old. Leslie is survived by a daughter, Angela Martinez and her husband Luis of Orlando, a very dear friend for over 40 years, Irena Richardson of Waterbury, two grandchildren, Melissa and Christopher and six great grand-daughters. All services are private and have been entrusted to Woodtick Memorial of Wolcott, Connecticut.
