Lawrence E. Gelinas (Larry), 57, of Bristol, Ct., entered into eternal peace on Wed. September 22, 2021. Larry was a Wolcott native and born on November 6, 1963. He was a graduate of Wolcott High School. Larry was awarded as Wolcott town hero in 1999 for his heroic efforts in aiding with help during a house fire. Larry was part of the family painting business going back 3 generations and a professional in that trade. He was also an avid fisherman and lure maker. Larry also found passion for painting on canvas and making metal art sculpture. Larry is survived by his parents, Patricia Culbert & Raymond Gelinas Sr. & step mom MaryLou Gelinas, a brother, Raymond Gelinas Jr/wife, Dawn Gelinas & step brother Michael Sciarra, along with Aunts, Uncles, cousins, a niece & 2 nephews & friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held at 6:30.
