WOLCOTT ~ Kathleen Simpson, 63, of Wolcott passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Kathleen was born August 14, 1948 in Waterbury, daughter of Clayton Murphy and the late Jeanette (Cormier) Murphy. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School and had been employed as the Office Manager for Atlantic Pavement & Marking for 20 years. Kathleen had a flair for interior design and was a lover of music. She enjoyed trips to the beach and spending time with her family and friends. Kathleen leaves her father of Little River, SC, her siblings, Judith Schmidt and her husband, Jack of Ormond Beach, FL, Eileen Murphy of Waterbury, Nancy Dunlap and her husband, Thomas of Wolcott, Thomas Murphy and his wife, Laurie of Waterbury, Robert Murphy and his fiance, Kathleen Barczak of Long Beach, CA, and Richard Murphy of Watertown, her nephew, Thomas Murphy and his wife, Katharine of Ellington, her niece, Kelsey Dunlap of Wolcott, her great nephew and great niece, Joseph and Angela Murphy of Ellington, and her best friend, Wanda Chiles of Waterbury.
