Karen Jacques Bianchi: a creative and conscientious mother to Christina and Valerie, a loving sister to Ellen, Valerie, Denise and Darrin, an adventurous auntie to many nieces and nephews, and an inspirational teacher of us all, passed away on October 1, 2011. Her commitment to her family and friends has influenced us and drives our every action. As a celebration of the leadership that connects us to her and each other, we invite friends and family to spend the day Sunday, October 9th, doing the work that she taught us is the most important: make visible your love for others. Take time to cheer on your nephews little league team, take your sister to see the fall colors change, or knit socks for someone you love with cold feet. Actually, do all those things in one day. A memorial is being planned in the coming year to provide an opportunity for us to honor her life, the date to be determined. In lieu of flowers etc, donations can be made to the Relay for Life of Middletown in her name.
