WATERBURY ~ Julio Rivera, 37, of Waterbury, passed away on Thursday, May 5th at St. Marys Hospital. He was born October 27, 1973 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, son of Minerva (Rodriguez) Rivera and the late Julio Rivera. Julio, a happy and friendly person enjoyed dancing and playing dominoes. Besides his mother of Waterbury, he leaves his daughters, Juliana Maria and Zuleik Maria Rivera of Waterbury, his brother, Alexander Rivera of Waterbury, his sisters, Sugeily and Carmen M. Rivera of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, May 9th at 12 noon at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 am until the time of the services.
