WOLCOTT ~ Julie Ann Swoszowski, 31, of Wolcott passed away on September 8th in Naugatuck , CT. Julie was born July 28, 1978 in Waterbury , daughter of John and Mary (Rojowski) Swoszowski. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Teikyo Post University and was currentlyworking toward her Master's Degree inSpeech Pathology at Southern CT. University. Juliehad an unquenchable thirst for knowledge especially in the field of Holistic Health where she believed she could reach out and help others. This resulted in her becoming a certified Reiki and Shamballa Master Teacher, a trained Meridian Therapy Practitioner, an Aroma Therapist, a certified Energy Instructor and acertified reflexologist obtained from the Center of Universal Reflexology ofCT. She recently advanced her studies and became a certified Chinese Herbologist. Previously shewas employed byHuman ServicesSafe Homesfor abused children. She tutored special needs childrenin the Farmington School System andwas currently employed by Employment Options where she was an Independent Living Trainer (ILST) working with brain injured clients. Nature, flowers, organic gardening, photography, and travel captivated her interest. In general, she had a passion for life and a genuine love for people, especially children. Besides her parents of Wolcott, she leaves her brother, Michael of Wolcott, her aunt, Judith Padula of Wolcott , CT. , her aunt Lillian and uncle Dr. Roland Nardone of Silver Springs , MD. andnumerous loving and caring cousins, relatives and friends. Julie was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Wanda Rojowski of Union City , CT. and her paternal grandparents, Stanley and Mary Swoszowski of Shelton , CT. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 A.M. St. Maria Goretti Church, 1300 Woodtick Rd. , Wolcott. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 18th from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts may be made to Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, Inc. P.O.
