Waterbury - Judith Groleau, 69, of Waterbury, passed away on March 21, 2016 at the VITAS Hospice Unit at St. Marys Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Judith was born in Trenton, New Jersey on July 27, 1946, the daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (Petro) Holford. Judith was predeceased by her daughter Tracey DeMerse; her brother Tommy Holford; sisters Emily Raydenbow and Ernestine "Cookie" Tronina; and her grandson Austin LeRoy. She leaves behind her daughter Shannon LeRoy and her husband Gary LeRoy; granddaughters Brianna DeMerse and her wife Annie, and Isabella LeRoy; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately.
