WATERBURY - Juanita V. (Albert) Plourde, 88, widow of Joseph Raymond Plourde, passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer on September 8, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital. Juanita was born on September 28, 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Thelma and William Albert. A lighthearted, easy going woman, with a gentle nature who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, cross word puzzles and most of all spending time with her great grandchildren, AJ Stanco, Anthony and Olivia DellAnno. She was devoted to her family and helped care for her great grandchildren up until they entered school. She is survived by a son, Gary J. Plourde of Waterbury, granddaughters, Shennen DellAnno, and her husband, Tony, Jennifer Stanco all of Waterbury, Raelyn Demirs of Watertown, grandsons, Anthony Conigliaro of Waterbury and Raymond Plourde of Cheshire, several great grandchildren, her brothers, Jimmy Albert of Montana, William Albert of California and Porter Albert and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Raymond, Philip, and Leslie "Lester" Plourde, her daughter, Denise M. Plourde and her brothers, Marvin and Clifford Albert. Juanitas family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Waterbury Hospital on the 2nd and 5th floors and the E.R. for their support over the last week. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. A funeral service will be held during the calling hours.
