Wolcott - Joyce (Carnright) Baldwin, 79, of Wolcott, passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Wolcott View Manor. She was the widow of Mr. Robert W. Baldwin. Joyce was born on November 25, 1935 in Haines Falls, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Florence (North) Carnright. Joyce was an active member of the Wolcott Senior Center and loved the trips she was able to take with them, especially to the casino. She was a longtime member of the Wolcott Congregational Church. Joyce is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Fortier of Lowell, MA, Linda Durst of Sioux Falls, SD, and Lisa Baldwin of Waterbury; two sons, Robert W. "Bill" Baldwin, Jr., of Winterport, Maine, and David Baldwin of Lowell, MA; four grandchildren, Robin Baird, Thomas Durst, Ryan and Courtney Dickey; one sister, Gail Carnright of Waterbury; one brother, Allan Carnright of Southington; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harold and Donald Carnright. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Wolcott Congregational Church, 185 Center St. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
