Southbury Mrs. Josephine (Natelle) Houghtaling, 85, formerly of Wolcott, passed away on Sunday morning, November 5, at the Lutheran Home. She was the widow of Kenneth Houghtaling. Josephine was born January 30, 1938 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (Rinaldi) Natelle. Josephine loved the beach, cooking, working in the garden and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Mill Plain Union Church. She is survived by her son, Norman Houghtaling (Larry Mize); her daughters, Susan DeMezzo, Teresa Lupachino (Perry) and Mary Schlossman (Alan); her brother, Richard Natelle; grandchildren, Kristina Nocera (Steve), Amanda Allen, Sarah Stemm (Dillon Krueger), Vincent Goffredo and Lisa Carrafa (Dante) and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Delores Barrows and her grandson, Joseph Kasfeldt. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, at 12:00 P.M. at Woodtick memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Friends may visit with Josephines family from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
