Wolcott Joseph E. Hubbard, 84, of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at his home. He was the loving husband of Kathryn (Betts) Hubbard. Joseph was born on March 13, 1938 in Waterbury, son of the late Maurice and Madeline ( Keene) Hubbard. Joseph served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Republican American as a teletype operator for over 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles with his wife and in his younger years, he was an avid bicyclist. Besides his wife Kathryn, Joseph is survived by his son, James Hubbard and his wife Elizabeth; and his grandson Joshua Hubbard. He was predeceased by two children, Joe Hubbard and Kathy Hubbard. Burial in Edgewood Cemetery in Wolcott will be held at a later date. Services Services are to be announced
