Joseph C. Fazzino A family man who loved so deeply and would do anything for anyone in need With broken hearts we sadly announce Joseph C. Fazzino, 73, of Torrington and formerly of Cheshire passed away suddenly on Wednesday February 26th at his home. Born in Waterbury on August 17, 1951, Joe was the son of the late Chester J. And Philomena (Salinardi) Fazzino. After graduating from Naugatuck High School in 1969, Joe earned a Bachelors Degree from The University of New Haven with a degree in business. He owned and ran Service Sawing Inc and then New Britain Saw Tech LLC located in New Britain. Joe had a wonderful personality. He was loving, caring and kind. Joe was above all else a family man who loved so deeply and would do anything for anyone in need. Joe was a simple man who loved Corvettes, Band Saw Machines, and ran his business with some computer help from Fallon, until he left this earth. He was also a member of The Torrington Lions Club & Sons and Daughters of Italy Concordia Lodge #20 and was passionate about volunteering and giving back. His grand dog Archie considered Papa to be his favorite human. Left to cherish his memory and carry on his loving legacy are his daughter Fallon and her husband Shawn Phaneuf, his granddaughters who he cherished Paige and Abigail Tierinni, his sisters Rosemary and her husband Mark Andrade, Carol and her husband Anthony Gaurdiano, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his longtime companion and fiance Carmela Sanzo of Torrington, where he resided with her. He was also truly loved by Carmelas family Michael and wife, Nicky Sanzo of Fort Mills, South Carolina and Julie and husband, Nadeem Ahmad of Austin, Texas. 10 grandchildren who referred to him as "Papa Joe" as well as many extended family and friends of Carmela. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Joes life on Friday March 14th at St. Paul Church 837 Charles St, Torrington, CT with a service beginning at 11 followed by a gathering in the church hall.
