JOSE TORRES WATERBURY ~ Jose Torres, 42, of Waterbury passed away on Wednesday, March 10th at UConn Health Center in Farmington. Jose was born July 24, 1967 in Ponce, P.R., son of Wilfredo Torres and Norma (Arce) Gonzalez. He was a member of the Crossroads Ministry in Waterbury. Jose was a caring son, father and brother. Besides his father of Meriden and his mother of Waterbury, he leaves his children, Quanisha, Jose, Emilio, Bianca and Joshua Torres of Waterbury, his brothers, Pedro, Angel, Wilfredo and Dwayne, and his sisters, Madeline and Wanda. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 pm.
