Obituary John C. Dumschatt Torrington: John Charles Dumschatt, 46, of Nutmeg Drive, died Tuesday, May 12th at Hartford Hospital. Mr. Dumschatt was born June 3, 1962 in Waterbury, son of John W. Dumschatt and Mari A. Petro. John graduated from Wilby High School in 1980 and was a graduate from the Lincoln Technical Institute of New Britain. He worked as a journeyman electrician for his family owned company, the Wtby Wireman for over 10 years and for FM Precision Company of Torrington for over 5 years. He attended St. Michaels Church and was a member of the Torrington Fish & Game, and the Forrester Club of Torrington. He loved sports, enjoyed football, basketball and was an avid golf player. Beside his father and wife Cheryl of Sebastian, FL., and mother of Waterbury, he is survived by his son William A. Dumschatt, III of Torrington, his stepdaughter Elizabeth Arbour of Torrington, and his fiance Diana Aurbour, with whom he made his home. He also leaves his two sisters Jacqueline Schupp of Griswold and Cheryl Liberator of Watertown, his nieces and nephews Erica, Lauren and Adam Liberator and Andrew, John and Joshua Schupp and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 15th at the Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
