With our hearts broken, we announce the sudden passing of John Thomas DiDomizio, who left us on Sunday August 9th at his home in Wolcott at the age of 58.

John was born in Waterbury on June 16, 1968, son of the late Richard and Dora (Stepputtis) DiDomizio. He graduated from Kaynor Tech High School in Waterbury. He was proud to work as a welder for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford. John was a devoted son and brother. His smile lit up the room anywhere he went. He enjoyed heavy metal rock bands from the 80s, going to the beach, woodworking and Native American culture.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister Doreen and her husband Chad Smith, his brother Dan DiDomizio, his nephew Dan Jr., Niece Breanna, two great nephews, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also had many great friends and coworkers that will truly miss him

John’s life will be celebrated beginning with calling hours on Monday August 17th from 4 to 7 PM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday beginning at 11 AM at the funeral home followed by burial in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
