Plantsville John Edward Barriger, 71, of Plantsville, passed away on January 23, 2022 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He was the loving husband to Michele Barriger for 43 years. John was born on April 7, 1950 in Michigan, son of the late John and Maxine Barriger. John enjoyed bird watching, hiking, traveling and being in nature. He was a man of great faith and loved the Lord. Besides his wife Michele, John is survived by five children, Tracy Colberg and her husband Rich, Mark Barriger and his wife Katherine, Susan Burgos and her husband Elvin, Andrew Barriger, and Aaron Barriger; 11 grandchildren; and one brother Daniel Barriger.
