Waterbury Jeannine Gagnon, 86, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rene Gagnon. Jeannine was born in Waterbury on May 5, 1933, daughter of Albert and Yvonne (Deshaise) Leblanc. She worked for years at Sacred Heart Church in Waterbury, where she was a parishioner, and had currently been a parishioner of St. Annes. Jeannine enjoyed bowling with her late husband, Rene, and was a Yankees fan. She is survived by her brother, Robert Leblanc, of Hurbert, NC; nieces, Rose Persico, of Middletown; Phyllis Riley, of Waterbury; and Lynne Depeault, of Brownsville, TX; Eva Butch, of Wolcott; and her nephew, Robert Depeault; and Roger Depeault, both of Waterbury. Including her husband, Rene, Jeannine was predeceased by her son, Michael Gagnon. Services for Jeannine will be held at a later date.
