Box 6320 Wolcott, CT 06716 (203) 879-3918 Obituary With Photo Jeannette Finelli Wolcott ~ Mrs. Jeannette Finelli, 89, of Wolcott passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at VITAS Hospice in St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Arthur P. Finelli. Jeannette was born July 21, 1922 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Albert and Georgiana Forest. She was happy to be a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother and was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, and was a Yankee and UCONN basketball fan. The Family fondly remembers the "Mrs. Finellis" cookies she baked. She leaves her sons, Al Finelli and his wife Angela of Brookfield, Gene Finelli and his wife Marie of Wolcott, with whom she made her home, her grandchildren, Christopher Finelli of Wolcott, Pamela Marco and her husband Anthony of West Roxbury, MA, her sisters, Irene Belval, Cecile Sileo, Rita LeBlanc all of Waterbury, her sisters-in-law Honey and Dora Finelli, both of Waterbury and Natalie Taylor of Cheshire, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize the staff at VITAS for the care and compassion given to Jeannette and her family during her stay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 1, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Church in Waterbury.
