Litchfield ~ Jeanne Savino, 51, formerly of Wolcott, died suddenly on Thursday January 27, 2011. Mrs. Savino was born December 14, 1959 in Fullerton, CA, daughter of the late Kenneth and Wanda (Smith) Foster. She worked for many years at Childrens Village Day Care as a teacher, in Wolcott. She went on to work for the Department of Children and Families for the State of CT up until she was injured. Jeanne loved life, music and going to concerts, she enjoyed spending time in Disney when her children were young and was always willing to arrange vacations and parties or any event for family or friends. She is survived by her two sons, Eric Savino and Dylan Savino, both of Wolcott, her childrens father and close friend, Michael Savino, a brother, Stephen Foster of New York, three sisters, Christine Leachman of Oregon, Jennifer Martin of Texas, Karen Jacoby of California, her companion Ron Winters with whom she resided, many special nieces and nephews and a niece Capriece of Oregon that she shared a special bond with. Calling Hours will be held Monday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service to be held during that time at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott, Friends and family are asked to meet on Tuesday directly at the Edgewood Cemetery in Wolcott for a graveside service at 10:30am.
