JEANNE ROBERTS WOLCOTT ~ Jeanne (LaPerriere) Roberts, 91, of Wolcott entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 9th and is now with her beloved husband Edgar "Dutchy" LaPointe Roberts. Her family was the light of her life. She also enjoyed sewing & was an avid UConn Womens Basketball fan. Mrs. Roberts was born March 5, 1918 in Trois Rivieres, P.Q., Canada, daughter of the late Antonio and Azelica (Pellerine) LaPerriere. She was a member of St. Pius X Church; Wolcott. She is survived by her 8 children, Ronald and his wife, Doris of Wolcott; Suzanne Keparutis and her husband, Leo of Westerlo, NY; Dyanne Boucher and her husband, Normand of Lowville, NY, Denise Abate and her husband, Ronald of Naugatuck; Richard and his wife, Anita of Bristol; David and his wife, Liza of Waterbury; Stephen and his wife, Janet of Prospect; and James and his wife, Dana of Wolcott with whom she made her home. She also leaves her brothers Jean LaPerriere of Waterbury and Roland LaPerriere of Southington; her sisters, Sue DeBonis and Irene Pelosi of Waterbury and Madeleine Altfeter of Meriden. Mrs. Roberts was predeceased by her brother Florent and her sisters Marie, Bibiane, Theresa and Frances. She will be dearly missed by her 24 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
