Wolcott Jeanne McDermott-Perrier, 59, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2022. She was the loving wife of 33 years to Donald Perrier. Jeanne was born on February 15, 1963 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late John and Irene (Orlowski) McDermott. Jeanne received her Masters Degree and worked as a Librarian for a number of years. She was an avid reader, a professionally trained chef, and a loving mother, wife, and "Baba." Besides her husband, Donald, Jeanne is survived by her two children, John Perrier and his spouse Danica, and Daniel Perrier; and her grandson, Alfred Perrier. She was predeceased by her brother, Kevin McDermott. Calling hours are Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd. Inurnment will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Rd., Waterbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made in Jeannes name to any local library of the donors choice.
