Waterbury Jean Louis April, 82, of Waterbury passed away on December 9, 2020 at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Marys Hospital. He was the loving husband of 58 years to Nancy (Shedrawy) April. Jean Louis was born on August 13, 1938 in Saint Honore, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Louis Etienne April and Blanche (Baeulieu) April. Jean was brother to the late Joe April, Lucian April and Rejeanne Labonte. Jean loved spending time with his family and will always be remembered for his friendly and helpful nature. He enjoyed motorcycles, camping, roller skating, music, singing, being outdoors, and traveling with his wife. Besides his wife, Jean Louis is survived by his son, Adam April and his wife Deborah of Thomaston; his daughter, Alaina and her husband Geoffrey; three grandchildren, Keith April and his wife Meghan, Eric April and Alyssa Ouellette, and Shannon April; his brother Ronald April and his wife Ann of Waterbury; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog Buster.
