Waterbury - Jared H. Voghel, 38, of Waterbury, passed away on September 21, 2016 in Waterbury. Jared was born on November 15, 1977 in Waterbury, son of Henry and Nancy (Hill) Voghel. Jared grew up in Waterbury and Wolcott and was respected and gifted mechanic. He loved music, playing guitar, cooking, bonfires, the freedom of riding his Harley, and his cat J.J., but most of all he loved his family and friends. Jareds smile lit up a room, his laugh was contagious and he gave the best hugs in the world. Besides his parents, Jared is survived by two sisters, Holly Pratt and Patty George; his paternal grandmother, Alice Voghel; two nephews, Christopher Pratt Jr., and Jaxon Voghel; his "brother," Christopher Pratt Sr., and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends in Connecticut and Clarksville, TN. Family and friends may call on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
