Janice K. (Dunphy) Mackiewicz, 61, of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 14th 2021. Janice was born February 8, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Waterbury. She loved her family and found comfort having a close relationship with God. Janice is survived by her mother, Maureen T. Dunphy and her sister Leanne Dunphy of Waterbury. She is also survived by her three children, her son, Jason Taylor and his wife Dana, of Wolcott; Kevin Taylor II of Wolcott, and Ryan Taylor of Naugatuck. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, which she adored; Brianna, Brayden, Carter, BrynnLee, Jason and William as well as her nephew Michael Stafstrom. Janice was predeceased by her father Joseph N. Dunphy of Waterbury; sisters, Laurie (Dunphy) Ravenscroft and Donna (Dunphy) Stafstrom; as well as her nephew Patrick Stafstrom. Calling hours are Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held privately.
