Jammie Ray Taplin, 53, of Waterbury, Connecticut passed away on April 22nd. Jammie was predeceased by his parents, Jannie May Taplin and John Taplin Sr. He leaves behind his older siblings Katie Taplin, Jesse Taplin, John Taplin Jr., Theresa Taplin-Smith, his niece and nephews; Kieyonna Taplin, Jermaine Taplin, and Casie Taplin. He was loved and adored by his great nieces; Adriana Taplin, Jazmin Vasquez, Zariah Taplin, and Kiarah Taplin. Jammie was an active member of his community; he loved his work at Easter Seals and playing sports. He loved the Special Olympics and was involved in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, and Skiing. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A service will be held at 12 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
