Wolcott James Fairchild, 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was the husband of the late Frances (Beliveau) Fairchild. James was born in Waterbury on February 11, 1936, son of James M. and Jeannette (Gaudette) Fairchild. He worked as a master tool and die maker for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, skiing, and walks with his dog. Mr. Fairchild leaves behind his sisters, Helen Ruginis; Roseann Robinson; and Grace Hassenfeldt; his daughter in law, Lori Fairchild; many nieces and nephews; and his furbabies, Kenai; Jessie; and Josey. Including his wife, Fran, Jim was predeceased by his sons, Jimmy, Tracey, and George. Services for Mr. Fairchild will be held privately.
