JAMES H. BOOK WOLCOTT ~ James H. Book, 60, of Wolcott passed away on Wednesday, January 20th at his home. He was the husband of Mary (Daniels) Book. Mr. Book was born May 18, 1949 in Waterbury, son of the late Charles H. and Hilda (Horne) Book, Sr. He had been employed at Ansonia Copper and Brass and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union. His pastimes included fishing and boating and he was a member of the Derby Sportsmens Club. He enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was an active member of the Audubon Society. Besides his wife, he leaves his daughters, Jodi Book and her partner, Nick Minicucci of Waterbury and Robyn Lantz and her husband, Bryan of Charlestown, NH, his step-daughter, Michelle Ferucci and her husband Lucien of Branford, his brother Charles H. Book, Jr. of Wolcott, his grandsons, Noah, Mason, Aiden and Ethan and his granddaughters, Tia & Alyson. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott from 2 to 5 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 306 Industrial Park Rd., Suite 105, Middletown, CT 06457.
